The mission of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Thrombosis Research Group is to promote scientific innovation that results in changes in clinical practice and policy to improve patient care and outcomes in cardiovascular medicine, with a focus on thromboembolic disease. The Thrombosis Research Group has decades of experience leading a wide variety of scientific investigation, ranging from clinical epidemiology and outcomes research studies, single arm studies of novel therapeutics including devices, and comparative effectiveness studies including randomized controlled trials, and implementation science. We are also deeply committed to understudied areas in cardiovascular and thromboembolic disorders including thrombophilia and thrombosis-related infertility.
